NOVELTY - Preparation of three-dimensional porous graphene involves adding 500 mg oxidized graphite in a quartz tube, pumping vacuum of 8x 104-9x 104 Pa to tube, closing the tube valve, sealing tube in muffle furnace, heating at 500-1200 degrees C for 5-30 minutes with rate of 5-20 degrees C/minute for 5-30 minutes, taking out the quartz tube and immersing in ice water for 3-5 minutes, repeating heating-quenching process for 1-9 times, and collecting quartz tube product. USE - Preparation of three-dimensional porous graphene used in lithium ion battery, fuel cell, solar cell, photocatalyst, catalytic oxidation, gas sensor, and drug delivery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides environmentally-friendly three-dimensional porous graphene.
