NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene involves inserting graphite rod as cathode and molybdenum rod as anode in an electrolytic solution, applying voltage of 0.8-1.5 V, leaving still for 1-5 minutes, applying voltage of 10-15 V for 4-15 minutes, filtering electrolyte solution, drying, placing solid product under inert gas atmosphere and irradiating with laser of (4-7.5)x 1014 Hz. USE - Preparation of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides graphene having high specific surface area, with high productivity, by simple method with reduced consumption of energy.
