NOVELTY - A nano silicon carbide ceramic sintering stabilizer comprises water, anhydrous acetic acid, citric acid and nano composite powder of yttrium oxide and graphene in a mass ratio of 50:5-10:1-2:5. USE - Sintering stabilizer is used for preparing nano silicon carbide ceramics (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The sintering stabilizer can be evenly dispersed in silicon carbide powder, and can reduce sintering temperature and improve uniformity of sintering of silicon carbide powder particles, such that the silicon carbide ceramics prepared using the sintering stabilizer have excellent high-temperature resistance, flexural strength and density, low porosity and high thermal conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of the sintering stabilizer. The nano composite powder comprises nano yttrium oxide powder with grain diameter of 20-40 nm, and nano graphene powder with grain diameter of 50-100 nm; and (2) preparation of nano silicon carbide ceramics, which involves using deionized water, silicon carbide powder with particle size (D50) of 3-5 microns, and sintering stabilizer.
