NOVELTY - Method for preparing a graphene oxide-trichloroisocyanuric acid composite, involves (a) preparing graphene oxide powder by improved Hummers method, (b) dispersing the graphene oxide dispersion in N,N-dimethylformamide, and ultrasonically treating, (c) adding trichloroisocyanuric acid, 4-dimethylaminopyridine and dicyclohexylcarbodiimide to the mixture obtained in step (b), magnetically stirring at 55-65 degrees C for 1-3 hours, centrifuging, discarding the supernatant, and leaving still to obtain a solid layer, (d) dispersing the lower solid obtained in step (c) in deionized water, adding trichloroisocyanuric acid, and magnetically stirring at 45-55 degrees C for 5-7 hours, (e) washing the product obtained in step (e) with deionized water by vacuum filtration, and (f) pre-freezing the product obtained in step (e) at low temperature, freeze-drying, and grinding to obtain the product. USE - The method is useful for preparing a graphene oxide-trichloroisocyanuric acid composite, which is useful as a disinfectant (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite increases the bactericidal effect of trichloroisocyanuric acid, and exhibits synergistic effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the graphene oxide-trichloroisocyanuric acid composite prepared by the method.
