NOVELTY - The article has a first layer of nanoporous graphene and nanoporous graphene oxide on portion of surface of nanofibrous scaffold. An additive is selected from group consisting of cross-linking agents and particles on outer surface of first layer of nanoporous graphene and nanoporous graphene oxide. A second layer of nanoporous graphene and nanoporous graphene oxide on portion of surface of first layer of nanoporous graphene and nanoporous graphene oxide such that the additive is formed between first and second layers of nanoporous graphene and nanoporous graphene oxide. USE - Article for nanofiltration, desalination and pervaporation. ADVANTAGE - The fluid transport efficiency of a membrane is improved. The clogging of the membranes is reduced. The contaminants in the membrane are removed. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a graphical representation of the infrared spectra of samples of graphite and graphene oxide produced.
