NOVELTY - Preparing spinning-grade single-layer graphene oxide slurry involves adding 1 pts. wt. natural flake graphite to 100-150 pts. wt. 5-20% dilute sulfuric acid and ultrasonicating for 0.5-1.5 hours while stirring to obtain a reaction solution. The reaction solution is transferred to an air flotation machine for air flotation of micro-intercalation graphite followed by the addition of 30-50 pts. wt. 98% concentrated sulfuric acid to 1 pts. wt. micro-intercalation graphite. After cooling to 0 degrees C under stirring conditions, 1-2 pts. wt. potassium permanganate is added and after the addition is complete, the reaction solution is stirred at room temperature for 5-10 hours. The reaction solution under stirring conditions is poured into 130-500 pts. wt. 0.1-5% ethanol aqueous solution for dilution. The reaction solution is transferred to an air flotation machine for air flotation to obtain a spinning grade monolayer graphene oxide slurry. USE - Method for preparing spinning-grade single-layer graphene oxide slurry. ADVANTAGE - The spinning grade single-layer graphene oxide slurry has a single-layer rate greater than equal to 99.5% and an oxygen content greater than equal to 40%, has better spinning processability and stronger hydrogen bonds, which can realize the production of graphene oxide fibers with reversible fusion and fission and has extremely high scientific research value.
