DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Producing graphene oxide modified asphalt-based carbon fiber comprises (a) placing hydrogenated asphalt in autoclave, slowly heating at 420-450 degrees C under nitrogen flow rate of 1-2 l/min, stirring at speed of 350-400 revolution/minute for 60-90 minutes to dissolve the asphalt with quinoline solvent until amount of soluble asphalt reaches greater than or equal to 75%, and removing insoluble matter to obtain intermediate phase asphalt, (b) ultrasonically mixing graphene oxide solution with the intermediate phase asphalt for 0.5-2 hours, where the concentration of graphene oxide in the asphalt solution is 0.1-5 wt.%, stirring in high pressure reactor evacuated with nitrogen gas at 300-380 degrees C, adding modified additive under protection of nitrogen (mass ratio of oxidized asphalt to modified additive is 1:0.001-0.05), and mixing to obtain modified asphalt, (c) charging the modified asphalt in melt spinning kettle is a single hole spinneret having a pore diameter of 0.5-0.8 mm, heating at 300-350 degrees C, and maintaining at constant temperature until the modified asphalt melted, and spraying from the spinning hole by drawing upper roll at drafting rate of 400-800 m/min to prepare primary fiber, and (d) pre-oxidizing the primary fiber at 260-300 degrees C with heating rate of 1-2 degrees C/min under air atmosphere to obtain pre-oxidized wire, and carbonizing the pre-oxidized wire in three stages at 650-800 degrees C, 850-1000 degrees C and 1000-1200 degrees C with heating rate of 1-3 degrees C/min in presence of high purity nitrogen for 0.5-1 hour to obtain graphene oxide modified asphalt-based carbon fiber.
