NOVELTY - The device (10) has a heat dissipation element (14) arranged to partly surround a heating chamber (12). The heat dissipation element is made from material that dissipates heat predominantly in axial and tangential direction with respect to a longitudinal axis of the heating chamber. The heat dissipation element dissipates heat less in radial direction then in the axial and tangential directions with respect to the longitudinal axis of the heating chamber. The heat dissipation element is configured as a layer and made of graphene. The heat dissipation element fully surrounds the heating chamber and extends over the heating chamber in distal direction. USE - Aerosol-generating device for generating an inhalable vapor. ADVANTAGE - The heat dissipation element prevents the outside of the aerosol-generating device from becoming too hot, thus allowing a user to safely touch the aerosol-generating device. The aerosol-generating device dissipates the heat away from the heating chamber in axial or tangential direction, so that the heat can be dissipated into the rest of the device, thus safely reducing the total temperature and dissipating the overall heat to the environment without a certain spot.
