NOVELTY - Preparing lubricating oil containing cuprous oxide composite modified graphene involves adding graphene to 10-50 mL absolute ethanol, dispersing ultrasonically for 1 hours, adding a mixed solution of oleic acid and stearic acid, stirring for 1.5 hours at 70-80degrees Celsius in a water bath after the stirring is completed, washing, filtering by ethanol, placing in a vacuum drying oven, drying at constant temperature of 80degrees Celsius to obtain modified graphene, taking 1-5 g the obtained modified graphene. USE - Method for preparing lubricating oil containing cuprous oxide composite modified graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare lubricating oil containing cuprous oxide composite modified graphene in simple, cost-effective manner, does not need to add a dispersant, and can effectively inhibit the oxidative decomposition of the active ingredients in the lubricating oil, so as to increasing the viscosity index of the lubricating oil and prolonging the service life of the lubricating oil, and at the same time improving the friction resistance of the lubricating oil and the stability of the lubricating oil. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing lubricating oil containing cuprous oxide composite modified graphene involves adding graphene to 10-50 mL absolute ethanol, dispersing ultrasonically for 1 hours, adding a mixed solution of oleic acid and stearic acid, stirring for 1.5 hours at 70-80degrees Celsius in a water bath after the stirring is completed, washing, filtering by ethanol, placing in a vacuum drying oven, drying at constant temperature of 80degrees Celsius to obtain modified graphene, taking 1-5 g the obtained modified graphene, adding to 30 ml copper sulfate solution with concentration of 0.7-1.2 mol/L, dispersing ultrasonically, mixing for 2 hours, during ultrasonic oscillation, dropping slowly sodium hydroxide solution with a volume of 60 ml and the same concentration as the copper sulfate solution, adding dropwise ascorbic acid solution after the dropping is completed, performing ultrasonic vibration continuously for 1.5 hours after the reaction is completed, filtering, washing the solid product obtained after the filtration with ethanol and deionized water, drying to obtain cuprous oxide composite modified graphene, adding 1-10 wt.% the obtained cuprous oxide composite modified graphene to the mineral oil base oil, adding antioxidant and emulsifier for ball milling for 1 hours, performing ultrasonic treatment, the ultrasonic frequency is 20 kilohertz, the ultrasonic dispersion time is 1 hours to obtain lubricating oil containing the cuprous oxide composite modified graphene.
