NOVELTY - Removing harmful elements in ammonium metavanadate by reduction method comprises (a) dissolving graphene in deionized water and ultrasonically dispersing to obtain graphene dispersion, dissolving oxalic acid in deionized water to obtain oxalic acid solution, adding gained oxalic acid solution into the graphene dispersion, stirring to obtain graphene oxalate dispersion reducing agent, adding vinyltrimethoxysilane, stirring to modify, obtaining modified graphene oxalate dispersion reducing agent, (b) mixing and ball-milling the ammonium metavanadate and graphene, dissolving in hot water to obtain ammonium metavanadate graphene solution, (c) adding the modified graphene oxalate dispersion liquid reducing agent into the ammonium metavanadate graphene solution, reacting, filtering to obtain filtrate, (d) adding ammonium metavanadate crystals into the filtrate for recrystallization, separating solid and liquid, and drying to obtain ammonium metavanadate. USE - The method is useful for removing harmful elements in ammonium metavanadate by reduction method. ADVANTAGE - The purity of the ammonium metavanadate is ≥99.9%, has stable quality and high production efficiency.
