NOVELTY - Production of graphene-based pearlescent pigment comprises adding concentrated sulfuric acid and graphite into a first reaction kettle, mixing, pumping into second reaction kettle, adding methyl ferrate powder in batches, mixing, stirring, injecting purified water or organic solvent, and high-speed shear stirring to form graphene oxide solution; adding weighed water-soluble titanium salt into deionized water, stirring to obtain a titanium salt aqueous solution, adding mica and silica to titanium salt aqueous solution, stirring, adding weighed polyacrylamide, stirring, dropping inorganic acid, stirring, solid-liquid separating, drying, mixing with polyacrylamide and water, stirring, mixing with graphene oxide solution, heating, and stirring; and weighing graphene oxide solution, pearlescent pigment dispersion and metal reducing agent at mass ratio of (40-100):(6-8):1, heating, stirring at 20-80 degrees C for 30 minutes to 24 hours, solid-liquid separating, and drying at 180-200 degrees C. USE - The method is used for producing graphene-based pearlescent pigment.
