NOVELTY - Catalytic synthesis of three-dimensional graphene-like structural carbon material comprises dissolving ethyl cellulose and sodium hydroxide in water at 1:1-3 molar ratio, transferring suspension to PTFE reactor, reacting at 80-120 degrees C for 12 hours, mixing reaction product with nickel(II) acetate at 100:5-20 mass ratio, carbonizing mixture at 700-1000 degrees C for 1-3 hours under argon atmosphere, washing carbonized product with deionized water, suction-filtering, drying, immersing in hydrochloric acid solution to remove residual nickel element, suction-filtering, washing residue until pH of washing solution is 6.5-7.2, and drying at 60 degrees C.
