NOVELTY - Preparing NCO functionalized graphene/ azo polymer complex waveguide thermo-optical material, comprises preparing graphite oxide, ultrasonically peeling to obtain graphene oxide dispersion; reacting isophorone diisocyanate and graphene oxide dispersion to obtain isophorone diisocyanate functionalized graphene oxide; and adding isophorone diisocyanate functionalized graphene oxide dispersion into resulting hydroxy terminated azobenzene prepolymer, and reacting. USE - The thermo-optical material is useful for digital thermo-optic switch with a low drive power and fast response speed (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has a higher thermal coefficient.
