NOVELTY - Preparing a wave-absorbing interlayer material composite bulletproof armor plate involves adding PE pellets, graphene, carbon nanotubes and fillers, where 80-82 wt.% PE pellets, 12 -15 wt.% graphene, 6-8 wt.% carbon nanotubes, 3-5 wt.% fillers, and 100 wt.% sum of the above components. The pre-mixing of PE pellets are turned on the open mill, adjusted the temperature to 160-170 degrees C, put the PE pellets into the open mill and preheat for 3-5 minutes. The pellets are partially melted and rolled, used a copper knife to cut open, roll, and repeatedly plasticize. The surface of the melt is smooth without holes. The graphene and carbon nanotubes are poured into the roll, blend with the PE melt, repeated the triangle package, and adjusted the roll distance to 12-15 minutes after the premix is repeatedly pulverized to 1.5-2mm into pieces, cooled. The mixed sheet sample is put into a mold, set a plate vulcanizer at 160-180 degrees C, and pressed it into a sheet of a certain thickness. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare a wave-absorbing interlayer material composite bulletproof armor plate is makes the two effectively combine to get better performance bulletproof armor materials, not only can make up for the lack of absorbing performance of single-layer materials, improves design flexibility, and also reduces the overall material density.
