NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide comprises (i) under the condition of protective gas, pressurizing the graphite, mixing intercalation agent and oxidant and carrying out low temperature reaction, obtaining the reaction mixture, (ii) separating the reaction mixture to obtain reaction product, (iii) peeling the reaction product in the dispersant to obtain the graphene oxide dispersion liquid. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method uses the condition of low temperature, reduces the defect rate, can achieve insertion of intercalation agent between graphite sheet so that that interlayer acting force is reduced and the interlayer distance is increased, and insertion of oxidant between the graphite sheet, so as to form graphene oxide, can realize reaction more completely in a short time, so as to prepare graphene powder with low defect rate and high quality. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene, comprising reducing graphene oxide dispersion liquid and purifying to obtain graphene dispersion liquid, mixing the graphene dispersion liquid, and carrying out heat treatment to obtain the graphene.
