NOVELTY - Preparation of iodine-doped graphene composite involves pre-oxidizing graphite in the presence of an oxidizing agent, oxidizing the pre-oxidized graphite in the presence of sulfuric acid, potassium permanganate and hydrogen peroxide, performing ultracentrifugation to form a graphite oxide suspension, stirring and ultrasonically-processing the graphene oxide suspension having a concentration of approximately 3 g/l, performing non-catalytic reduction with hydroiodic acid, and separating by extraction to form an iodine-doped graphene having an electrical resistivity of 14-16 m( Omega ).cm. USE - Preparation of iodine-doped graphene composite used as cathode material for fuel cell with proton exchange polymeric membrane.
