NOVELTY - An electrode material comprises lithium-manganese-fluoro-metal phosphate-based crystal. The crystal has a 010 crystal direction and a thickness of 10-80 nm in the 010 crystal direction. USE - Material used in positive electrode of battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrode material has low thickness in the 010 crystal direction, thus ensuring short lithium ion diffusion distance, improved lithium ion diffusion rate and multiplying power performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An electrode material comprises lithium-manganese-fluoro-metal phosphate-based crystal of formula: LiMn(1-x-y)FxMyPO4, where M is one or more of titanium, zirconium, aluminum, potassium, magnesium, strontium and barium, 1-x-y is 0.2-0.8, x is 0.2-0.8 and y is 0-0.1. The crystal has a 010 crystal direction and a thickness of 10-80 nm in the 010 crystal direction. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of electrode material, which involves preparing phosphate, manganese salt, iron salt, lithium salt and crystal plane regulator into suspension, transferring the suspension to an inert gas atmosphere, and hydrothermally reacting under high pressure. The crystal plane regulator is used for increasing the activation energy of crystal growth in 010 crystal direction, and inhibiting the growth of the crystal in the 010 crystal direction.
