NOVELTY - Preparing oxidation catalyst comprises (i) using aqueous solution containing phosphorus to impregnate carbonaceous material, and performing first roasting in an inert gas to obtain phosphorus-doped carbon carrier, (ii) mixing phosphorus-doped carbon support with active metal component compound solution to obtain first mixture, and (iii) performing first drying and first reduction on first mixture. USE - The method is useful in preparing oxidation catalyst for preparing 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: can improve hydrophilicity of carrier, maintain utilization rate of active metal, improve activity of catalyst. The catalyst can catalyze and oxidize 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid with high selectivity under condition of no additional basic additive. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: oxidation catalyst, where the oxidation catalyst includes phosphorus-doped carbon support and active metal component, the specific surface area of phosphorus-doped carbon carrier is 200-2500 m2/g, the phosphorus-doped carbon carrier includes 0.01-5 wt.% phosphorus, and 4-18 wt.% oxygen, and the content of active metal component is 0.4-20 wt.% based on the weight of the oxidation catalyst. preparing 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid, comprising (a) mixing aqueous solution of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural with organic solvent to obtain mixed solution, and (b) add oxidation catalyst in 5-hydroxymethylfurfural mixed solution, and carrying out oxidation reaction in the presence of oxygen.
