NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-doped polyaniline adsorption material comprises (i) mixing sulfuric acid solution of aniline and aqueous solution of graphene oxide, ultrasonic dispersing, adding ammonium persulfate, ultrasonic processing, magnetic stirring and reacting for 6-12 hours, filtering to obtain dark green precipitate and washing to obtain polyaniline-graphene oxide complex; and (ii) dispersing the polyaniline-graphene oxide complex in water, adding hydrazine hydrate, adjusting pH, stirring and reacting, filtering, washing using double distilled water and methanol, and vacuum drying. USE - The adsorption material is useful for adsorbing benzopyrene in industrial wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The adsorption material has benzopyrene absorption rate of more than 76%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene-doped polyaniline adsorption material comprises (i) mixing sulfuric acid solution of aniline and aqueous solution of graphene oxide, ultrasonic dispersing for 20-30 minutes, adding ammonium persulfate, continuously ultrasonic processing for 3-5 minutes, magnetic stirring at room temperature and reacting for 6-12 hours, filtering to obtain dark green precipitate and repeatedly washing using double distilled water and methanol to obtain the polyaniline-graphene oxide complex; and (ii) dispersing the polyaniline-graphene oxide complex in water, adding 40-80% hydrazine hydrate, adjusting pH to 10-11 using aqueous ammonia, stirring and reacting for 8-16 hours at 40-80 degrees C, filtering, repeatedly washing using double distilled water and methanol, and vacuum drying to obtain blue precipitate i.e. graphene-doped polyaniline adsorption material.
