▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A durable low friction coating (DLFC) comprises 70-95 wt.% (excluding 70 and 95) binder, 1-15 wt.% (excluding 1 and 15) filler, and 0.2-5 wt.% (excluding 0.2 and 5) additive(s). The binder and the filler are mixed in liquid form. The additives are mixed with a liquid mixture of the binder and the filler in liquid form and the mixture of the binder, the filler, and the additives are cured into a layer of DLFC. USE - Durable low friction coating used for forming brake shim and abutment clip for brake system (all claimed) e.g. coated brake disc components for vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The environmentally-friendly and durable coating has low coefficient of friction, and reduces or eliminates the noises and vibration characteristics of the brake systems. The elastomer layer and DLFC layer can be cured together providing additional durability and cost effectiveness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) Brake shim (104), which comprises a metal substrate, two elastomer layers deposited on opposing surfaces of the metal substrate, an adhesive layer deposited on a surface of one of the two elastomer layers, and DLFC layer deposited on a surface of the other two elastomer layers; (2) Abutment clip for brake system, which comprises the metal substrate, elastomer layers deposited on a surface (S1) of the metal substrate, and two DLFC layers (L1, L2), in which the DLFC layer (L1) is deposited on a surface of the elastomer layer, the DLFC layer (L2) is deposited on a surface (S2) of the metal substrate; and (3) Manufacture of DLFC, which involves mixing the binder and the filler in liquid form to form the mixture (M1), mixing the mixture (M1) and the additive in liquid form to form the mixture (M2), rolling the mixture (M2) onto a coil material to form a layer of DLFC, and curing the layer of DLFC by heat treatment.
