NOVELTY - A graphene-based oil-water separation foam has contact angle of 120-155 degrees . USE - Graphene-based oil-water separation foam used in oil slick collecting device, light non-aqueous phase liquid inline extraction device, and dense non aqueous phase liquid inline extraction device for use in oil recovery and inline remediation of organic contaminants in soil and groundwater (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-based oil-water separation foam is prepared by simple process with excellent oil and organic pollutants recovery effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene-based oil-water separation foam, which involves (i) immersing porous foam material in an aqueous graphene oxide solution, removing, and drying, (ii) immersing the dried material in an organohalosilane-containing organic solution, removing, and drying.
