USE - Used as wide temperature range nickel-based self-lubricating composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has surface hardness of 4-5.5 GPa, three-point bending strength greater than 500 MPa, friction coefficient of 0.15-0.35, and wear rate of less than or equal to 8 mm/10000 Km, simple preparation process, high production efficiency and is suitable for mass production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing wide temperature range nickel-based self-lubricating composite material comprising mixing hexagonal boron nitride with graphene, nickel-based alloy powder, adding active agent, wet ball milling, drying, sieving to obtain mixture A, (ii) calcining mixture A in reducing atmosphere to obtain modified material B, (iii) wet ball milling modified material B and nickel-based alloy powder, then drying and sieving to obtain mixture C, (iv) cold-pressing the mixture C into green body, and sintering in reducing atmosphere to obtain sintered compact, and (v) recompressing the sintered billet to obtain wide temperature range nickel-based self-lubricating composite material.
