NOVELTY - An oxidation treatment method of arsenic-containing waste acid wastewater involves precisely filtering the waste acid wastewater by precise filtering device, and entering filtrate into adjusting tank. Diaphragm for electrolytic cell is divided into an anode chamber and a cathode chamber. The cathode chamber is filled with soluble salt solution. Filter liquid of the adjusting tank is pumped into the anode chamber. Certain current and liquid level of diaphragm electrolytic cell are controlled, then electrochemical oxidation of arsenic is performed. The oxidized liquid is neutralized by alkali and acid, and then iron salt arsenic fixation is performed. USE - The method for oxidation treatment of arsenic-containing waste acid wastewater is useful for metallurgy and chemical industries. ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of converting trivalent arsenic in the polluted acid into pentavalent arsenic; is simple, economic and will not introduce other ions; and has simple device structure, low investment, and strong universality. Curing cost of arsenic in later period is greatly reduced.
