NOVELTY - Preparing loaded platinum quantum dot nitrogen-doped graphene-type carbon material comprises (1) evenly grinding polyethylene glycol and melamine, adding them into porcelain boat, vacuumizing the tube furnace, introducing inert gas, heating the tube furnace, carbonizing the mixed material to obtain nitrogen-doped graphene-type carbon material; and (2) dispersing nitrogen-doped graphene-type carbon material in ethylene glycol and deionized water-solution, ultrasonically treating obtained mixed solution to form uniform dispersion, adding chloroplatinic acid solution, uniformly dispersing, transferring to a microwave reactor for microwave-assisted heating, stirring at certain temperature for a certain period of time, centrifuging obtained product, washing with deionized water, washing with ethanol for many times, drying it in vacuum oven. USE - The loaded platinum quantum dot nitrogen-doped graphene-type carbon material is useful in fuel cell cathode oxygen reduction. ADVANTAGE - The method: takes less time, consumes less energy, and distributes more uniformly; is simple; and has mild and controllable operating conditions. The loaded platinum quantum dot nitrogen-doped graphene-type carbon material: can exhibits excellent oxygen reduction activity.
