NOVELTY - A water-based foaming polystyrene material comprises graphene oxide, styrene, polyvinyl alcohol, calcium phosphate, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, and benzoyl peroxide as raw materials and water as physical blowing agent. The graphene oxide is the carrier of the foaming agent. The water-based foaming polystyrene material with graphene oxide is used as a water carrier. USE - Water-based foaming polystyrene material. ADVANTAGE - The material is environment-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the foaming polystyrene material comprising adding polyvinyl alcohol, calcium phosphate, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, and graphene oxide in a beaker, adding deionized water, and ultrasonic dispersing for 30 minutes; decompressing and distilling the styrene and benzoyl peroxide in the beaker and ultrasonically dispersing for 10 minutes; weighing proper dispersant polyvinyl alcohol, calcium phosphate, surfactant sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, and deionized water in a four-mouth flask, mechanical stirring, water bath heating to 60 degrees C, slowly adding first material, and stirring for 1 hour; slowly adding second material, heating to 85 degrees C, reacting for 5 hours, raising temperature to 90 degrees C, and hardening for 1 hour; and washing with 5% hydrochloric acid, filtering, and vacuum drying at 40 degrees C.
