NOVELTY - Polypyrrole/graphene oxide/manganese oxide nano-composite electrode material comprises graphene oxide dispersion, pyrrole monomer, sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate solution, manganese sulfate solution, where the volume ratio of graphene oxide dispersion liquid, pyrrole monomer and sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate solution is (250-500):7:(250-500). The volume ratio of the mixed solution formed by the graphene oxide dispersion, the pyrrole monomer and the sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate solution to the manganese sulfate solution is (1-2):1. USE - Polypyrrole/graphene oxide/manganese oxide nano-composite electrode material used to adsorb heavy metal ions in wastewater, where the heavy metal ion is cadmium divalent ion, copper divalent ion or lead divalent ion (claimed) and for capacitor de-ionized (CDI) technology electrode preparation and application. ADVANTAGE - The polypyrrole/graphene oxide/manganese oxide nano-composite electrode material has improved capacitance characteristics, high efficiency, in simple and uniform manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a polypyrrole/graphene oxide/manganese oxide nano-composite electrode material, which involves: a. fully mixing the graphene oxide dispersion with the pyrrole monomer, adding sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate solution and stirring to obtain a uniformly dispersed mixed solution A; b. adding manganese sulfate solution to the mixed solution A, ultrasonically dispersing to a uniform state to obtain a uniformly dispersed mixed solution B; and c. using the mixed solution B as the electrolyte, using nickel foam as the anode, and an equal-area graphite plate as the cathode, and performing electrochemical deposition on the anode to obtain a product.
