▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Lightweight particle composition (C1) (100) comprises many lightweight particles that are one of enclosed, loose, or bonded, where the lightweight particles comprises one of an inorganic or organic composition comprising a bulk density of 0.001-1.5 g/cc and a particle size of 0.01 mu to 90 mm, and an interstitial void (106) space between the lightweight particles comprises a total of less than 70% of a volume of the lightweight particles. USE - The compositions are useful as fillers for various applications e.g. bag or container fillers, void fillers, resin extenders, buoyancy support, composites, functional fillers, indicator applications, carriers and related systems. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a lightweight particle composition (C2) comprising many lightweight particles comprising a bulk density of 0.001-1.5 g/cc, and a particle size of 0.01 mu to 90 mm, where the lightweight particles comprises one of an inorganic material, an organic material or a first portion of the lightweight particles comprising an inorganic material and a second portion of the lightweight particles comprising an organic material, the lightweight particles comprises one of a porous material, a non-porous material or a third portion of the lightweight particles comprising a porous material and a fourth portion of the lightweight particles comprising a non-porous material, the lightweight particles comprise at least one of a coating, treatment, or modification incorporated into or applied to a surface or as part of a system of the lightweight particles that at least partially surrounds each of the lightweight particles, the coating comprises a thickness of 0.001-1 mm, further the coating is applied at a ratio of 0.001-50 wt.%; and (2) manufacturing a lightweight particle composition comprising selecting many lightweight particles comprising a bulk density of 0.001-1.5 g/cc, and a particle size of 0.01 mu to 90 mm, where the lightweight particles comprises one of an inorganic material, an organic material or a first portion of the lightweight particles comprising an inorganic material and a second portion of the lightweight particles comprising an organic material, the lightweight particles comprises one of a porous material, a non-porous material or a third portion of the lightweight particles comprising a porous material and a fourth portion of the lightweight particles comprising a non-porous material and positioning the lightweight particles within a space so that an interstitial void space between the lightweight particles comprises a total of less than 70% of a volume of the lightweight particles.
