NOVELTY - An epoxidized soybean oil modified phenolic resin comprises 1200-1600 pts. wt. epoxidized soybean oil, 500-700 pts. wt. phenol, 1000-1300 pts. wt. bisphenol A, 2-10 pts. wt. 2-methylimidazole, 800-1200 pts. wt. formaldehyde, 10-150 pts. wt. basic catalyst, 2500-3000 pts. wt. solvent, 5-60 pts. wt. graphene, and 5-40 pts. wt. graphene oxide. USE - Epoxidized soybean oil modified phenolic resin used in preparation of copper clad sheet (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The epoxidized soybean oil modified phenolic resin is prepared using simple process at reduced cost, meets the production requirement of copper-clad in economical manner, ensures the production cost reduction and improves quality. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation method of epoxidized soybean oil modified phenolic resin, which involves weighing epoxidized soybean oil, phenol, bisphenol A, 2-methylimidazole, solvent, basic catalyst, solvent, graphene, and graphene oxide, mixing epoxidized soybean oil, phenol, bisphenol A and 2-methylimidazole at 150-200 degrees C for 4-6 hours, adding formaldehyde and basic catalyst, reacting at 95-105 degrees C for 45-90 minutes, pressing, dehydrating at temperature less than or equal to 85 degrees C, and adding mixture of graphene, graphene oxide and solvent; (2) use of epoxidized soybean oil modified phenolic resin in manufacture of copper clad sheet; and (3) preparation method of copper clad sheet, which involves (1) mixing epoxidized soybean oil-modified phenol resin to phenolic resin in mass ratio (4-8):1 to obtain mixture, where ratio of the release agent to the mixture is (0.002-0.01):1, mixing the release agent with the mixture to obtain glue, (2) impregnating bleached wood pulp paper into glue, drying to obtain prepreg, stacking N-sheets of prepreg, covering with copper foil, and hot pressing.
