NOVELTY - The modulator has a groove-shaped silicon substrate provided with a single mode optical fiber. The single mode optical fiber is provided with epoxy glue. An upper part of the single-mode optical fiber is provided with an aluminum oxide transition layer. The aluminum oxide transition layer is provided with a graphite film. The single-mode optical fiber is provided with an optical fiber core layer and an optical fiber cladding layer. USE - Graphene material based fiber optical modulator ADVANTAGE - The modulator has simple design, small size, less power consumption, low insertion loss and fast modulation speed.
