▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - System (100) comprises: an electrolyte (102); a working electrode (104); and a counter electrode (106), where the electrolyte is in electrochemical contact with the working electrode and the counter electrode, the electrolyte comprises a first metal salt, a growth control solution and an injector configured to inject the growth control solution into the electrolyte at a first location proximate the working electrode, thus generating a growth control region at a location in the electrolyte proximate to the first location or the growth control solution comprises a suppressor and the electrolyte does not include a suppressor, so that when an electric potential is applied to the working electrode at least a portion of the first metal salt in the electrolyte is reduced and a layer of metal is deposited outside the growth control region. USE - The system is useful for producing a three-dimensional structure using electrochemical additive manufacturing (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The system is locally controlled via growth control regions formed by injecting a growth control solution; is highly conductive and mechanically robust.
