NOVELTY - Graphene oxide modified epoxy resin compirses graphene oxide as filler and adds it to epoxy resin matrix to form a composite material system, and prepares the corresponding graphene oxide-modified epoxy resin. USE - The graphene oxide modified epoxy resin is used as composite material resin matrix, coating, and insulating material in aerospace, mechanical electronics, fresh energy and other fields. ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide modified epoxy resin: has high mechanical properties, good adhesion, high stability, excellent electrical properties, improved tensile strength and bending strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the graphene oxide modified epoxy resin compirsing (1) suspending the helical ribbon in concentrated sulfuric acid, oxidizing with potassium permanganate at 60-90°C at high temperature, obtaining the reaction solution; washing and filtering many times, drying and peeling to obtain graphene oxide; and (2) using a bisphenol A/F diglycidyl ether blend as polymer matrix, adding resin to graphene oxide/acetone suspension, heating and reacting at 50-70°C for 11-13 hours, removing acetone to obtain a dispersion; dispersing a dispersion through graphene nanocomposite obtained by diluting the epoxy resin with three-roll calender to obtain a dispersion; adding the diamine hardener 1,2-diamine cyclohexane into the dispersion, mixing and pouring into the mold for degassing, and solidifying to obtain the graphene oxide modified epoxy resin.
