NOVELTY - Aqueous acrylic damping coating comprises 20-40 pts. wt. aqueous acrylic emulsion, 2-5 pts. wt. polyvinyl alcohol, 45-70 pts. wt. filler, 0-10 pts. wt. water, 0.1-1 pts. wt. dispersant, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. antifoaming agent, 0-1.5 pts. wt. thickening agent, 0.3-1 pts. wt. wax emulsion, 0.15-0.2 pts. wt. carbon black and 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. plasticizer. The filler comprises 1-4 pts. wt. polyvinyl alcohol-graphene oxide nanocomposite hydrogel, 5-10 pts. wt. precipitated barium sulfate, 5-10 pts. wt. mica powder, 3-8 pts. wt. talc, and 20-45 pts. wt. heavy calcium carbonate. The synthetic monomers of the aqueous acrylic emulsion include acrylate monomers and hydrophilic functional monomers. USE - Used as aqueous acrylic damping coating. ADVANTAGE - The coating: has high damping peak value, wide damping temperature range, low temperature impact resistance, salt mist resistance; can bake directly at high temperature, strong adhesive force and good performance, and satisfies use standard of the current automobile damping coating. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing aqueous acrylic damping coating comprising (1) adding aqueous acrylic emulsion, polyvinyl alcohol and water to aqueous acrylic emulsion disperser, and stirring at 400-500 revolutions/minutes for 60-90 minutes, (2) adding dispersant, antifoaming agent, wax emulsion and plasticizer, and stirring at 600-900 revolutions/minutes for 10-20 minutes, (3) adding polyvinyl alcohol-graphene oxide nano composite hydrogel, precipitated barium sulfate, mica powder, talc, heavy calcium carbonate and carbon black under stirring conditions at 1200-1500 revolutions/minutes for 20- 30 minutes, and (4) adding thickening agent until system does not sag, and stirring at 1500-1800 revolutions/minutes for 15-30 minutes to obtain aqueous acrylic damping coating.
