NOVELTY - Preparing a composite material involves dissolving graphene oxide in deionized water, ultrasonically stripping to obtain a graphene oxide solution, and then sequentially adding ammonium tetrathiomolybdate, a salt compound of a transition metal, and a reducing agent to the graphene oxide solution. The graphene oxide solution is added into raw material and subjected into ultrasonicated, the dispersion uniformly to obtain mixed solution. The mixed solution is transferred to the reaction vessel, reacting at a temperature of 170-200 degrees C for 10-12 hours, and centrifuging, washing and drying the obtained product to obtain composite material. The obtained composite material is dissolved with absolute ethanol, and ultrasonically dispersing, and then uniformly dripping the electrode on the electrode material, coating both sides, drying and then surface is coated with a binder and dried at room temperature. USE - Method for preparing a composite material for treating wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare a composite material, which has good electrochemical properties and catalytic hydrogen production effect, low production cost and reach pollution capacity effect.
