NOVELTY - Graphene oxide grafted polystyrene high-strength heat-resistant plastic is claimed. The preparation comprises (a) dissolving 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethyl-carbodiimide hydrochloride and N-hydroxysuccinimide in absolute ethyl alcohol, adding carboxylated graphene, ultrasonically dispersing, adding mercaptoaniline under ice water bath condition, (b) dissolving the dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and dibromopropionic acid in dichloromethane solvent, gradually adding the dichloromethane solution dissolved with propiolic alcohol in ice water bath, (c) dissolving the styrene, copper bromide, pentamethyl diethylenetriamine in toluene solvent, freezing and vacuumizing, (d) dissolving the terminal alkynyl polystyrene in tetrahydrofuran solvent, adding mercapto graphene, ultrasonically dispersing, and (e) heating and softening e.g. acrylate rubber, adding de-foaming agent, processing by the plastic extruder and the heat exchanger in the mold, cooling and curing to obtain the plastic. USE - Used as graphene oxide grafted polystyrene high-strength heat-resistant plastic. ADVANTAGE - The plastic: has good gas barrier properties and thermal stability; can inhibit the infiltration of oxygen into the polystyrene matrix and hinder the migration of decomposition products, thus improving the thermal stability of the polymer; can hinder the movement of the polymer segment by the strong interface between the graphene oxide sheet layer and the matrix and the existence of covalent bonds, thus increasing the activation energy of degradation, giving the matrix good thermal stability; reduces the stress concentration point and improves the tensile strength and elastic modulus of the polystyrene matrix, so that the polystyrene plastic has very high mechanical strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene oxide grafted polystyrene high-strength heat-resistant plastic is claimed. The preparation comprises (a) dissolving 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethyl-carbodiimide hydrochloride and N-hydroxysuccinimide in absolute ethyl alcohol, adding carboxylated graphene, ultrasonically dispersing, adding mercaptoaniline under ice water bath condition, reacting for 1-2 hours, filtering and washing, vacuum drying to obtain the mercapto graphene, (b) dissolving the dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and dibromopropionic acid in dichloromethane solvent, gradually adding the dichloromethane solution dissolved with propiolic alcohol, 4-dimethylamino-pyridine in ice water bath, reacting for 20-30 hours at room temperature, evaporating the solvent, separating by chromatography, washing to obtain 2-propyl-bromopropionic acid propyl ester, (c) dissolving the styrene, copper bromide, pentamethyl diethylenetriamine in toluene solvent, freezing and vacuumizing, adding 2-bromine propyl propyl propionate, carrying out Reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer polymerization (RAFT), dissolving and purifying, depositing, vacuum drying to obtain terminal alkynyl polystyrene, (d) dissolving the terminal alkynyl polystyrene in tetrahydrofuran solvent, adding mercapto graphene, ultrasonically dispersing, heating to react, precipitating and filtering, washing, vacuum drying to obtain the graphene oxide grafted polystyrene resin and (e) heating and softening the graphene oxide grafted polystyrene resin, acrylate rubber, ethylene propylenediene rubber, methyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene copolymer and polyethylene glycol, mixing uniformly in the stirrer, adding de-foaming agent, processing by the plastic extruder and the heat exchanger in the mold, cooling and curing to obtain the graphene oxide grafted polystyrene high-strength heat-resistant plastic.
