NOVELTY - Electrochemically modifying surface-treated carbon fibers involves using carbon fiber as anode, and graphite plate as cathode, and adding graphene oxide and polymerized monomer to electrolyte solution. The electrochemical polymerization is occurred on the surface of the carbon fiber under the action of current. The polymerization reaction is carried out, and then the carbon fiber is taken out, washed and dried, where polymerizable monomer is one or more of diacetone acrylamide, acrylic acid, and phenol. USE - Method for electrochemically modifying surface-treated carbon fibers. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to electrochemically modifying surface-treated carbon fibers which is helps to increases the anchoring of carbonfibre composite material and the substrate, and improves adhesive property between the carbon fiber and the matrix, and enhances themechanical performance of the composite material.
