NOVELTY - Preparation of sandwich-like tin selenide/reduced graphene oxide involves (S1) adding 30-90 mg graphene oxide in 30-70 mL glycol or glycerol, uniformly dispersing, adding 0.04557-4.557 g inorganic tin salt, stirring uniformly, adding 0.046-0.46 g surfactant, dissolving completely to obtain solution (A), (S2) adding 0.0158-1.58 g selenium powder in 3-8 ml reducing agent, stirring, dissolving completely to obtain solution (B), dripping in solution (A) and stirring uniformly to obtain solution (C), (S3) hydrothermally reacting at 120-180 degrees C, cooling to obtain black solution (D), (S4) adding 10-20 g graphene oxide in 10-20 ml glycol or glycerol, dispersing uniformly to obtain solution (E), adding in solution (D) and stirring uniformly to obtain mixed solution (F), (S5) hydrothermally reacting at 120-180 degrees C, cooling to obtain black solution (G), filtering and collecting black powder and freeze-drying. USE - Preparation of sandwich-like tin selenide/reduced graphene oxide used for preparing cathode of sodium-ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The reducing agent reduces selenium powder to (Se-2) and oxygen-containing functional group on graphene oxide, which improves complexing with (Sn2+) and conductivity of graphene in composite material. The nano-morphology improves electrochemical performance of composite material. The method is simple, has excellent repeatability and improves conductivity and structure stability of tin selenide-based composite material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) sandwich-like tin selenide/reduced graphene oxide complex; and (2) application of sandwich-like tin selenide/reduced graphene oxide complex in preparing sodium ion battery cathode sheet by mixing composite with adhesive and conductive agent.
