NOVELTY - Calcium alginate hydro-gel filter membrane comprises 30-40 % sodium alginate, 20-40 % soluble calcium salt, 0.1-10 % silver nitrate, 0.1-5 % graphene oxide, and 0.01-2 % black phosphorus. USE - Used as calcium alginate hydro-gel filter membrane. ADVANTAGE - The membrane: has good antibacterial performance, avoids degrading by bacteria, has antibacterial rate of Escherichia coli of 80-100%. The method: is simple, environmentally friendly, has good pollution resistance, dye desalination, oil separation, and de-coloring dyeing waste water. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing calcium alginate hydro-gel filter membrane comprising (i) formulating an aqueous dispersion A of a mixture of black phosphorus with a mass concentration of 0.01-2% and graphene oxide with a mass concentration of 0.01-5%, in this dispersion A, adding silver nitrate with a concentration of 0.1-10 wt.% and dissolving to obtain a mixture solution B, adsorbing dissolved silver ions on the surface of black phosphorus, passivating the lone pair electrons of the phosphorus atoms in the black phosphorus, and improving stability of the black phosphorus, and adsorbing part of silver ions on graphene oxide to avoiding loss of silver ions, (ii) adding sodium alginate to the aqueous mixture solution B, and dissolving after allowing to stand and de-foaming to obtain a casting film solution, (iii) formulating a soluble calcium salt aqueous solution with a concentration of 0.2-10 wt.% as a coagulation bath, (iv) pouring obtained casting film solution on a dry and clean glass plate, and scraping it with a glass rod wound with copper wires with a diameter of 20-1500 mu m at both ends, soaking glass plate and the scraped film in the coagulation bath obtained for 5-240 minutes, reacting soluble calcium salt with sodium alginate to form a calcium alginate hydrogel, calcium ions can simultaneously crosslink the carboxy group on graphene oxide and the carboxy group on alginate, improves strength of calcium alginate hydrogel and reduces its swelling performance, and (v) repeatedly washing inorganic salts remaining on membrane and membrane surface with de-ionized water to obtain a black alginate/graphene oxide-containing calcium alginate hydrogel filtration membrane.
