USE - Method for preparing dilute graphite-iron-metal-organic framework composite material (claimed) that is utilized for super capacitor electrode material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing dilute graphite-iron-metal-organic framework composite material with mild condition, in a simple and controllable and cost-effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A dilute graphite-iron-metal-organic framework composite material preparing method involves preparing graphene oxide by mixing flake graphite:sodium nitate:concentrated sulfuric acid (1 g:1 g:48 ml) in an ice water bath and stirring, adding potassium permanganate, and stirring in an ice-water bath for 1-2 hours. The reaction mixture is heated to 35 degrees C for 2 hours, hydrogen peroxide is added, the reaction is continued for 1 minute, the resulting reaction mixture is suction filtered, the resulting filter cake is washed with distilled water, until the effluent is neutral, and placed under 600 W ultrasound for 30 minutes to obtain graphene oxide, where the mass ratio of potassium permanganate and flake graphite is 6:1 and the mass ratio of hydrogen peroxide:potassium permanganate is 1:1200. The composite material preparation process is performed by adding graphene oxide, iron-chloride and terephthalic acid to N,N-dimethylformamide solvent, ultrasonic dissolution for 1 hour under ultrasonic power of 600 W, controlling temperature at 150 degrees C, carrying out hydrothermal reduction reaction for 15 hours, suction filtering resulting the reaction mixture, washing the resulting cake with N,N-dimethylformamide, repeatedly washing, filtering, controlling temperature at 80 degrees C and drying to obtain dilute graphite-iron-metal-organic framework composite material, where the ratio of graphene oxide, iron chloride, terephthalic acid and N,N-dimethylformamide is 15 g:100 g:200 g:150 ml. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a dilute graphite-iron-metal-organic framework composite material produced by the method.
