NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene-supported molybdenum disulfide cathode material involves adding ammonium molybdate tetrahydrate and thiourea to the graphene oxide dispersion liquid and uniformly mixing, adding mixed solution to a hydrothermal kettle and carrying out hydrothermal reaction to obtain black brown aerogel, reducing graphene oxide load molybdenum disulfide compound, washing the obtained product, freezing and drying, crushing reduced graphene oxide-loaded molybdenum disulfide composite into powder, heating the mixture at 150-160 degrees C under the protection of argon gas for 10-15 hours and naturally cooling to room temperature to obtain grey black powder. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-supported molybdenum disulfide cathode material, which is useful for lithium-sulfur battery. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene-supported molybdenum disulfide cathode material with high specific capacity, cycle stability and prolonged service life. The graphene-supported molybdenum disulfide cathode material improves the electrochemical performance of lithium-sulfur battery.
