NOVELTY - Preparation of binary metal phosphate cathode material comprises mixing phytic acid and phosphoric acid thoroughly to form solution containing phosphoric acid group, adding transition metal salt and alkali metal salt, mixing, subjecting mixture to hydrothermal reaction to obtain binary metal phosphate precursor, and annealing. USE - The method is for preparation of binary metal phosphate cathode material used for cathode sheet of battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method adjusts the proportion of phytic acid and phosphoric acid. The cathode material can achieve rapid mass transfer and strengthen electron transfer, and has uniform particle size and significantly increased mesopore ratio, high capacity, high rate and excellent cycle stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) binary metal phosphate cathode material; (2) a cathode sheet comprising binary metal phosphate cathode material, foil, binder, and conductive agent; and (3) a battery comprising cathode sheet, anode sheet, separator, and electrolyte.
