NOVELTY - Rod-shaped copper(Cu)-nickel (Ni) composite-loaded graphene microwave absorbing material comprises graphene as matrix, and Cu-Ni complex distributed on matrix as shell. USE - Rod-shaped copper-nickel composite-loaded graphene material used for absorbing microwave (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The presence of Cu-Ni complex improves compatibility of graphene with media impedance and its absorption to microwave. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of rod-shaped Cu-Ni composite-loaded graphene microwave absorbing material comprising dispersing 5-20 mg graphene oxide in 40-70 mL 5-10 mol/L sodium hydroxide solution at room temperature, adding 0.1-1 mol/L copper(II) nitrate trihydrate (Cu(NO3)2.3H2O) solution and 0.1-1 mol/L nickel nitrate hexahydrate (Ni(NO3)2.6H2O) solution at molar ratio of 1:1-4, adding 0.01-1 mL ethylenediamine, stirring mixture uniformly, adding 0.01-0.4 mL hydrazine hydrate, heating mixture to 60-100 degrees C for 1-8 hours, cooling to room temperature, collecting precipitate, washing with water and alcohol, and vacuum-drying.
