NOVELTY - The switching element (210) has a support electrode (16) fixed to a base (2). A beam (8) has a fixing portion (18) fixed to base and electrically connected to support electrode. A movable portion (11) is separated from base and connected to the fixing portion. The fixing portion is made of multilayer graphene converted into metal carbide, and movable portion is made of multilayer graphene. A control electrode (91) is fixed to base and made to face a floating conductive layer (15) attached to moving portion through an insulating portion (3) that stores electric charges. USE - Switching element of machine electricity system. ADVANTAGE - The stable operation of the switching element can be achieved by forming the fixing portion using multilayer graphene converted into metal carbide.
