NOVELTY - Gas protective composite adsorbent comprises graphene oxide, metal organic framework material, and manganese and cerium-loaded oxidation modified activated carbon. USE - The gas protective composite adsorbent is used for protecting sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas and toxic gas derivatives (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite adsorbent has strong adsorbability to SF6 gas and all its toxic gas derivatives, and adsorption efficiency of more than 99.5%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of gas protective composite adsorbent comprising water washing activated carbon, boiling, drying, adding into mixed solution of nitric acid (HNO3) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), heating and stirring at constant temperature, filtering, primary drying, obtaining oxidation modified activated carbon, immersing in potassium permanganate (KMnO4) solution, ultrasonically treating, standing, secondary drying to obtain manganese-loaded oxidation modified activated carbon, immersing in cerium nitrate (Ce(NO3)3) solution, ultrasonically treating for the second time, secondary standing, drying for the third time to obtain manganese and cerium-loaded oxidation modified activated carbon, dissolving manganese and cerium-loaded oxidation modified activated carbon, graphene oxide, copper nitrate hydrate (Cu(NO3)2.2.5H2O) and 1,3,5-benzene tricarboxylic acid in water, ultrasonically stirring, obtaining mixed solution, mixing the mixed solution, N,N-dimethylformamide and ethanol, secondary ultrasonically stirring, heating in oil bath at 80-90 degrees C, reacting, cooling, filtering to obtain solid product, soaking, cleaning and drying.
