NOVELTY - Formation of graphene oxide involves oxidizing graphite using an acid to obtain primary reaction product containing graphene oxide, recovering acid from the primary reaction product, and then oxidizing the graphite using the recovered acid to obtain recycled reaction product containing graphene oxide. USE - Formation of graphene oxide. Uses include but are not limited to primary battery, secondary battery, electric component, notebook computer, mobile phone, touch panel, lithium-ion capacitor, fuel cell, thin film solar cell, liquid crystal display, etc. ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene oxide with improved productivity under short period of time.
