NOVELTY - Metal atom-non-metal atom co-doped graphene catalyst comprises graphene is used as main body. The graphene main body is doped with metal atoms and non-metal atoms. The metal atoms and non-metal atoms are coordinated and distributed in the graphene lattice. The metal atoms are single atoms or polyatoms. USE - Metal atom-non-metal atom co-doped graphene catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The metal atom-non-metal atom co-doped graphene catalyst has utilization ratio of nearly 100% of the catalytic active center atoms, better specific capacity and cycle performance, maximizes catalytic performance without affecting the energy density of the battery, increases the cycle life of the battery and utilization rate of sulfur, improves the performance of the lithium-sulfur battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for preparing metal atom-non-metal atom co-doped graphene catalyst, which involves dispersing graphene oxide powder and single metal salt in solvent, and drying to obtain mixture, mass ratio of the graphene oxide powder to the metal salt is 100:(0.1-3), mixing mixture with non-metal precursor and then annealing at high temperature to obtain metal atom-non-metal atom co-doped graphene catalyst; (2) a cathode material, which comprises catalyst and sulfur powder, catalyst is metal atom-nonmetal atom co-doped graphene catalyst; and (3) a lithium-sulfur battery, which comprises cathode material.
