▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Electrochemical cell has an anode, a cathode, surfaces surrounding a portion of each of the anode and the cathode, and a heat shunt covering a portion of the surfaces and configured to distribute heat generated by the electrochemical cell across the surfaces. USE - Electrochemical cell for use in a battery management system. ADVANTAGE - The cell reduces or prevents lithium plating caused by differences in voltage throughout the electrochemical cell by using a heat shunt, and utilizes a separator made from a porous polymer or other suitable material to prevent direct contact in the anode and the cathode. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a system, which comprises an electrochemical cell, and heat shunt sleeves configured to receive the electrochemical cell such that the heat shunt sleeve covers a portion of the surfaces and distribute heat across the one or more surfaces of the housing; and (2) a method, which involves: (a) distributing heat across surfaces of an electrochemical cell using a heat shunt.
