NOVELTY - Lithium-rich manganese-based composite positive electrode material, comprises primary particles and/or secondary particles consisting of primary particles, where primary one comprises a lithium-rich manganese-based base material and a composite coating layer positioned on the surface of the lithium-rich manganese-based base material. The composite coating layer comprises a spinel phase coating layer and a carbon coating layer. The carbon coating layer is positioned on the outer layer of the spinel phase coating layer. USE - Lithium-rich manganese-based composite positive electrode material used in lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The carbon source on surface reduces surface transition metal elements and rebuild the surface structure, so that the surface coating layer of spinel structure is generated in situ, which improves rate capability of the material, and also prevents excessive voltage reduction. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: A method for preparing lithium-rich manganese-based composite positive electrode material, which involves mixing the lithium-rich manganese-based matrix material, a carbon source and a solvent to obtain a dispersion liquid, and crushing to obtain slurry. The slurry is dried and sintered to obtain the lithium-rich manganese-based composite anode material. A lithium-ion battery, which comprises lithium-rich manganese-based composite positive electrode material.
