▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - An apparatus comprises a ferromagnet comprising a single layer or multi-layered materials comprising metal, oxide and/or other types of magnetic film, and a substance is chemisorbed on a surface of the ferromagnet for inducing Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) or perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMI) at the interface between chemisorbed species and ferromagnet. USE - Apparatus used for generating Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) and PMI used as sensor detecting (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The apparatus induced effects are used to manipulate spin textures such as switching of domain wall chirality and writing/deleting magnetic skyrimons, and improves the development of DMI tuneable platforms that combine pairs of buried interfaces with opposite DMI to provide the magnetic surfaces with left or right handed chirality, and the sign of an unknown DMI at a new interface is added to the structure that are revealed unambiguously. The switching via chemisorption may be done in a tunable and contactless fashion, without requiring electrical leads that being attached to the device. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) generation of the DMI; and (2) generation of the PMI.
