▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A graphene-modified polyester fiber is produced by mixing 100 pts. wt. graphene/polyethylene terephthalate (PET) nanocomposite material and 0-10 pts. wt. an additive, carrying out spinning, cooling, oiling, drawing and winding to obtain fiber. The graphene/PET nanocomposite material comprises a single-layer graphene sheet and PET. The surface of the graphene sheet is connected with the PET molecule through covalent bonding. USE - Graphene-modified polyester fiber is useful for clothes, fireproof fabrics, sunshade umbrellas and UV protective clothing. ADVANTAGE - The graphene-modified polyester fiber has excellent flame-retardant property and UV resistance, and can be prepared in a simple, effective and economical manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the preparation method of the graphene-modified polyester fiber, which involves uniformly mixing graphene/PET nanocomposite material and additive and carrying out melt extrusion to obtain the graphene-modified polyester fiber.
