NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene welding wire involves acid washing and removing rust from disc surface, alkali washing to remove organic residue and rust, drawing to obtain welding wire of predetermined size, dissolving graphite oxide in water to obtain solution of 1-20 %mass concentration, immersing the welding wire in the graphite oxide solution, covering the graphite oxide on the surface of the welding wire, reducing the graphite oxide on the surface by physical or chemical method to form graphene film, and drying the welding wire surface. USE - Preparation of graphene welding wire (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preparation process is simple and produces welding wire having excellent corrosion resistance and wire feedability.
